The simple present tense: Spelling of third-person singular forms / Questions with Who

For the third-person singular (he, she, and it), add -s to base form of most verbs.

Base form                    Third-person singular form

Clean          👉            Cleans                He cleans the dishes                 

Take            👉            Takes                 She takes a shower.

Add -es to verbs that ends in -s, -sh, -ch, or -x.

Wash           👉            Washes

Brush          👉            Brushes

Watch          👉            Watches
